MIPIM 2021 Postponed (Again)
MIPIM, one of Europe's premier real estate trade shows, announced last week that they will be postponing their hybrid event which was originally scheduled for March 16-19, 2021 and then rescheduled for June 2021.
The international real estate show will now be held in person in Cannes from Tuesday, September 07 to Wednesday, September 08, 2021.
Notable for attendees, the format is now Tuesday to Wednesday rather than the traditional Tuesday to Friday dates.
Each year, MIPIM hosts nearly 26,000 attendees to its home city of Cannes, France. It is widely considered to be one of the most important real estate events on the calendar, as it attracts players from the entire industry including the biggest players like CBRE, JLL, Blackrock, BNP Paribas, and SEGRO.
The March 2020 edition of the international show was originally postponed to June before being cancelled due to the pandemic. A Paris virtual event was hosted instead. There is also an online leader summit starting tomorrow March 16th from MIPIM World.
For the meetings and events industry, the return to a physical MIPIM event would act as a major boost to a much needed recovery in the sector.

You can already save the dates for the in-person MIPIM 2022 in the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes: March 15-18.
